We all need to play our part to stop the spread of COVID-19 and protect the people we love most. The COVID-19 Delta variant is more transmissible than the previous variants of COVID-19 we’ve experienced. It can cause serious illness and death in people of all ages.
One member of the household ONLY should leave home to shop for food once each day.
You may leave home to seek medical care, or for essential work and education.
You can leave home to get a COVID test or get vaccinated.
Outdoor public gatherings, including exercise, limited to two people (excluding members of the same household).
You must stay within your Local Government Area or within 10kms of home for exercise and outdoor recreation, with no carpooling between non-household members.
Browsing in shops is prohibited
Funerals are limited to ten people in total (from Sunday, 11 July).
Wear masks indoors. Protect yourself and others.
Do not have visitors to your house, including family.
The current lockdown will be extended for at least another two weeks until 11:59pm on Friday, 30 July.
In these areas, online learning for students will also continue for an additional two weeks.
We understand this is a difficult time for the community and appreciate their ongoing patience.
It is vital people continue to come forward for testing to help us find any COVID-19 cases in the community.
